The trio has been buzzing in conversations as the top three 10U kids in the country…
In the competitive world of youth basketball, three exceptional talents from Northern California have taken the country by storm. Noah Taylor, who plays shooting forward, followed by teammates JoJo Price and King Tari, have catapulted their team, Paul George Elite, to the top of the national rankings for 10U teams. Their impressive performances and relentless work ethic have earned them a well-deserved spotlight.
Noah Taylor has particularly shone in grassroots play, earning MVP honors. His father, a former professional basketball player overseas, Deon Taylor, expressed immense pride in Noah and the trio’s achievements through their continuous hard work and steadfast dedication. “I’m beyond proud of these kids,” Deon said. “They have worked tirelessly to find themselves on the national scale in this capacity. They are absolutely special; each of them possesses a different gift. The one thing they all have in common is that they play unselfish with every emotion possible, and that makes them scary!”
Paul George Elite inherited the trio after their previous team in the Bay Area folded. For Noah, the experience has been transformative as he has traveled across the country chasing his dream. His training sessions in Los Angeles with Cory and Chris Smith, who also train LeBron James and other NBA all-stars, have been pivotal. “Noah is special, and his work ethic is next level,” said Cory and Chris Smith. Even NBA legend Scottie Pippen remarked, “Noah can simply go!”
Each player brings unique skills to the court, making them a formidable force as a collective. The trio’s journey has been nothing short of spectacular. Together, they average an astonishing 60.2 points and contribute nearly 11.3 steals per game. Their standout performances have helped Paul George Elite defeat some of the nation’s best teams.
Teammate JoJo Price has also been named MVP in two national tournaments, while King Tari has garnered MVP awards in both grassroots and national competitions. Noah, JoJo, and King Tari’s consistent excellence on the court has made them some of the top young players in the country.
JoJo Price, led by his father Marcus Price, has become a staple in the Northern California market through his Dreamchasers brand. JoJo has won countless championships and has played in higher age brackets, showcasing his exceptional talent. “I can’t put into words how proud I am of my son and the trio,” Marcus Price shared. “I think they can truly make it if they stay the course.”
King Tari’s journey began early when he was featured in the SF Times as a nationally-ranked player at just eight years old. He continues to impress with his cerebral play and remarkable understanding of the game.
Deon Taylor highlighted the boys’ achievements off the court as well. “It’s amazing because all of them are straight-A students and lead with greatness outside of the basketball gym. They are regular 10-year-old kids-iPads, video games, and simply being silly! But if you look closely enough, you can tell that they have a different gear for life. I know whatever they do, they will be successful—they have ‘it!'”
The trio will be joining Paul George Elite to compete for the national championship at the Big Foot National Tournament from July 24 to 28. This prestigious event will place them in front of national media, testing their skills against some of the highest-ranked teams in the country. The basketball community is rooting for these young men as they continue to make their mark on this ever changing sport.
