Karnataka Govt invites Rajinikanth and Jr NTR for this year’s Rajyotsava Awards – Times of India


Late actor Puneeth Rajkumar is being posthumously awarded ‘Karnataka Ratna’. Like every year, the awards will be given on November 1 on the occasion of Kannada Rajyotsava. This time the award ceremony will be held at Vidhan Soudha in a never-before grand manner. Fans are expected to come in huge numbers as this is a proud moment for Puneeth fans. The latest buzz says that the Karnataka government has invited Superstar Rajinikanth and Jr NTR to the ceremony.

Puneeth Rajkumar’s achievements in Kannada cinema are immense. Entering the film industry as a child actor, he entertained people with back-to-back movies. After becoming a hero, his fan base grew leaps and bounds to unimaginable heights. Apart from acting, Puneeth was also an excellent dancer and singer. He was an inspiration to the youth of Karnataka through many social works. He had been given many opportunities as a producer. Having achieved all this, he passed away on October 29 last year, which is a huge pain to the people of Karnataka. The actor will be posthumously awarded the ‘Karnataka Ratna’ by the state government. It is special award that is being presented on the occasion of Puneeth’s first-year commemoration. On behalf of Puneeth, his wife Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar will receive the award. Dr. Rajkumar’s family members will witness this moment.

Puneeth Rajkumar was involved in the work of the documentary ‘Gandhada Gudi’ before his death. This is his dream project. This documentary is releasing on October 28. A day before, i.e. on 27th, the premiere is scheduled in many places. The ticket booking has already started and the fans are already booking. Everyone is hoping that ‘Gandhada Gudi’will be a huge success.
