The Kerala Cricket Association (KCA) has decided to suspend former cricketer S. Sreesanth from all cricket activities of the association for three years.
The decision was taken at the special general body meeting of KCA held in Kochi on April 30. Sreesanth had made controversial and scandalous comments against the KCA, following Sanju Samson’s exclusion from the Indian team for ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
Sreesanth is the co-owner of the Aries Kollam Sailors, one of the franchise teams in Kerala Cricket League (KCL).

The KCA also decided not to take any action against Aries Kollam Sailors and Alleppey Ripples franchises after finding their reply to the show cause notices satisfactory.
However, KCA cautioned the franchises to be more careful while inducting new members to the team management.
KCA had earlier issued show-cause notices to Aries Sailors, after Sreesanth’s outburst, and against Alleppey Ripples after its lead content creator, Sai Krishna, attacked the KCA on social media platforms.
The KCA also decided to file a compensation case against Samson Viswanath, Sanju Samson’s father, for raising baseless allegations against it in the media.
