The Karnataka Police on Sunday arrested JD(S) MLC and former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda’s grandson Suraj Revanna in connection with the alleged sexual assault case lodged by a party worker. External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar on Sunday paid tribute to the victims of the Air India Flight 182 ‘Kanishka’ bombing, in which 329 people lost their lives almost four decades ago. The Montreal-New Delhi Air India ‘Kanishka’ Flight 182 exploded before it was slated to land at London’s Heathrow Airport on June 23, 1985. The blast killed all 329 people on board, most of them Canadians of Indian descent.
