Ferrari have installed their much anticipated upgrades that were scheduled for this Grand Prix Weekend in Imola. So far through FP1 and FP2, Charles Leclerc and Ferrari are looking rapid on the track, as Leclerc logged P1 in both practice sessions.
We know not to get too excited being that is only Free Practice, but one can’t help to feel as though Ferrari have now gotten the extra kick they needed to challenge Red Bull for race wins on a regular basis.

Charles Leclerc Back in Form
There couldn’t have been a better time for Charles Leclerc to get back in his stellar qualifying rhythm. Now with the upgrades in place, we should be seeing Leclerc at the very front of the grid as a norm once again.
Last race in Miami we saw Leclerc overcome his out of character poor qualifying habits of the 2024 season, as in the previous Grand Prix the Monegasque driver qualified P2, but finished the race P3 behind Max Verstappen and first-time race winner Lando Norris.
Charles Leclerc knows that track position here in Imola is all-important, and is pleased that he figured out his tire management issue in qualifying.
With Red Bull slipping, we may potentially be in store for Ferrari to come out as victors in the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix.
